Purpose

This role is responsible directing, developing, and implementating all Environmental and Health and Safety related compliance programs to achieve ongoing certifications against standards defined in ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems).

Key Missions

  • Coordinating and preparing internal and external audits
  • Monitoring compliance with processes, procedures and documentation
  • Managing quality documentation (version control, revision dates, authorisations and signatures)
  • Identifying non-conformities and initiating corrective actions
  • Ensuring process discipline and structure within the organisation
  • EHS (additional, coordinating)
  • Supporting RI&E and risk assessments
  • Recording and following up on incidents and improvement measures
  • Coordinating safety measures and instructions
  • Monitoring compliance with EHS guidelines and legislation
  • Facility Management (additional)
  • Coordinating building management and technical installations (including HVAC)
  • Maintaining supplier contacts and service contracts
  • Monitoring maintenance planning and operational continuity
  • Liaising with security/IT regarding access control and facility processes
  • Profile & Other Information

  • At least 5 years experience in quality and regulatory compliance within a manufacturing environment;
  • Proven experience in auditing, process optimisation and document management (including version control, revision control and formal authorisations);
  • Experience or a keen interest in EHS issues (RI&E, risk inventory) and facilities management;
  • An understanding of how regulatory compliance impacts operational activities and workplace behaviour;
  • Organisational skills and a proactive approach;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to easily establish rapport with both operational staff and management;
  • Fluency in Dutch, good command of English
