We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our client’s logistics operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the efficient transportation, warehousing, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods. You will play a critical role in ensuring that products are delivered to the right place, on time, and at optimal cost, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: Plan, implement, and oversee logistics operations including inbound and outbound transportation, warehousing, and inventory control. Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align logistics strategies with overall business goals. Develop and maintain relationships with freight carriers, 3PL providers, and other supply chain partners. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve logistics performance. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations regarding shipping, customs, and transportation. Implement logistics technology and software to improve accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Lead, train, and develop a team of logistics and warehouse staff. Prepare logistics budgets and manage costs effectively to support company profitability. Handle logistics-related problem-solving, including shipment delays, inventory discrepancies, and vendor issues. Conduct regular audits to ensure proper procedures and standards are followed. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of logistics or supply chain management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of logistics software and inventory management systems (e.G., ERP, WMS). Proven ability to manage budgets and logistics performance metrics. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Fluency in English and Dutch is required.
