We are hiring for a client in the Netherlands who is looking for a Category Manager Indirect Procurement with 3-4 years of experience. You will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies across various categories such as Facility Services, Transport, Mobility, Spare Parts & Site Services. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the effective delivery of goods and services. Working closely with stakeholders across the organization, you will play an integral role in driving cost savings, improving quality, and contributing to the success of international markets.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Developing procurement category strategies that align with internal customer needs while optimising costs.
- Identifying opportunities for synergies and cost/quality improvement projects across the global team and leading these initiatives from start to finish.
- Managing category procurement.
- Collaborating with and aligning internal stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Analysing market trends and data to inform strategic procurement decisions.
- Cultivating and maintaining supplier relationships and negotiating with them.
